OPDL is a 12 month, high-performance, standard based program where teams from throughout the province compete against one another. In the U13 OPDL league, no scores or standings will be kept. Focus is solely on development as players enter the Training to Train phase of LTPD.

Commitment

September 2024 to End of December 2024

• A maximum of 25 players will receive a written invitation to the September 2024 to December 2024 Pre OPDL training period.
• A player may request a trial/assessment on an individual basis by contacting Simon Wilshaw – s.wilshaw@wosc.com 
• Training from September through December will cost $875.
• Training during this time will include three (3) sessions per week.
• The team will be finalized by end of December.
  • We will ensure players released in December are offered a winter Premier (Regional) training program option.
  • Players released from OPDL trials are not guaranteed a spot on the coliseum 7v7 league roster. They will train full time and can be called into coliseum games as needed.

January 2025 to December 2025

• Players selected to the OPDL program program for the 2025 season will begin January 1, 2025 and finish December 31, 2025.
• Expect 3 x 1.5hr sessions per week plus a weekly strength and conditioning session starting in January.

Cost

• • Assessments – No cost: however, players must be registered through the WOSC system to be eligible.
  • Players selected at try outs then move into the OPDL Training pool for further assessment.
  • September to December Training – $875 – OPDL Training pool fees
  • January to October Season -$4,795 OPDL Fees
  • A payment plan of Nine (9) payments is available from January 2025 to October 2025. Please note that this is a payment plan not a monthly fee. By registering and accepting a place on these teams you are agreeing to pay the full amount, subject to the club’s refund policy.

• December (Christmas Period) is a mandatory rest period for all OPDL Players, but is incorporated into the cost of the Program.
