WOSC to Honour Four Members with Warrior Legacy Tree Recognition

West Ottawa Soccer Club (WOSC) will honour four outstanding individuals this year by adding their names to the Warrior Legacy Tree at Wesley Clover, recognizing their lasting impact on the club and the wider soccer community.

The Warrior Legacy Tree was placed in 2022 by the Youth Warrior Council as a permanent tribute to past and present WOSC players, coaches, and volunteers who exemplify the WOSC Warrior Mentality through their contributions both on and off the field. Each year, new “leaves” are added to the tree to celebrate individuals whose dedication, character, and influence have helped shape the club.

The 2025 honourees represent excellence across development, leadership, achievement, and inspiration:

  • Matti Pearce is being recognized for his unwavering dedication to player development, deep roots within the West Ottawa community, and lifelong passion for the game. His impact on youth soccer has been transformative, making him a true game changer within the club.
  • Megan Climenhage is honoured for her long-standing commitment, enthusiasm, and influence at WOSC. Her contributions have played a key role in shaping the club’s culture while inspiring players, coaches, and teammates through her leadership and energy.
  • Jenna Matsukubo is recognized for her achievements during her time with the club, as well as her discipline and focus both on the field and in the classroom. She represents the balance of athletic excellence and academic commitment that WOSC strives to instill in its athletes.
  • Theo Bair is honoured for his progression at every stage of his soccer journey. From his early development at WOSC to representing Canada internationally and playing professionally across Europe, his path reflects perseverance, ambition, and the Warrior Mentality at the highest level.

WOSC congratulates all four honourees and thanks them for the lasting legacy they continue to leave within the club and the sport.
