Program Overview
Warriors AllPlay is West Ottawa Soccer Club’s (WOSC) inclusive and adapted soccer program, designed to provide children and youth with disabilities, neurodivergent players, and individuals who benefit from additional support with the opportunity to experience the joy of soccer in a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.
At WOSC, we believe that soccer is for everyone. Regardless of ability, experience, or individual support needs, every player deserves the opportunity to participate, develop, build confidence, and feel part of a team.
Warriors AllPlay focuses on creating a positive, player-centred environment where activities are adapted to meet the unique abilities, needs, and comfort levels of each participant. Through engaging soccer activities, skill development, movement, and play, our goal is to encourage physical activity, build social connections, develop confidence, and foster a lifelong love for the game.
Program Structure and Coaching
Warriors AllPlay is a volunteer-supported program led and overseen by qualified WOSC coaching staff, ensuring that participants benefit from a structured, safe, and developmentally appropriate soccer experience.
WOSC coaching staff will be responsible for the overall planning, organization, and delivery of the program. This includes designing inclusive soccer sessions, adapting activities to accommodate individual abilities, establishing appropriate safety measures, and providing guidance and support to volunteers.
Working alongside WOSC coaches, dedicated volunteers will provide individualized assistance to participants, helping each player engage meaningfully in activities at their own pace and comfort level.
Our goal is to maintain a 1:1 volunteer coach-to-player ratio, allowing participants to receive personalized attention, encouragement, and support throughout each session. This ratio will be subject to volunteer availability and individual participant needs.
This collaborative coaching model combines the technical expertise and leadership of WOSC coaching staff with the enthusiasm, compassion, and commitment of community volunteers.
The Role of Our Volunteers
Volunteers are at the heart of Warriors AllPlay and play an essential role in creating a welcoming and inclusive soccer experience.
Under the direction and supervision of WOSC coaching staff, volunteers will:

Provide opportunities for movement, coordination, balance, and physical development through adapted soccer activities.

Our Philosophy
Warriors AllPlay is not defined by competition, standings, or results. It is about participation, opportunity, inclusion, and personal achievement.
We recognize that every player’s journey is unique. Success may mean learning a new soccer skill, making a new friend, gaining confidence in a group setting, or simply enjoying time on the field.
Our commitment is to provide an environment where every participant is supported, encouraged, and empowered to experience soccer in a way that is meaningful to them.
Through the leadership of WOSC coaching staff, the dedication of our volunteers, and the support of our families, Warriors AllPlay strives to make soccer accessible, enjoyable, and rewarding for every participant.
